Definition of Terms: In this document, ‘we’ or ‘us’ refers to The Ventured, and ‘you’ or ‘your’ ‘their’ refers to either participants or winners as applicable.
Entry purchase in to the draws
All entry purchases are final and no refunds for tickets will be given in any event unless at the promoter’s discretion. All participants have an equal opportunity to win and once a ticket is purchased, it becomes part of the draw. Each entry contributes to the overall excitement of the draw. Refunds would disrupt this balance, compromise the integrity of the competition and potentially impact the experience for others.
Before participating, we recommend that you carefully consider your decision and choose to play responsibly.
Refunds for any winnings
Please read this carefully to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and responsibilities as a winner.
Holiday vs. Cash Alternative: Upon winning, you will be presented with the choice between the main prize holiday package or a cash alternative. Your decision will be documented through email or phone communication. Once you have selected your preference, we will proceed accordingly. It’s important to note that your decision is final, and we are not able to switch or refund your choice after it has been confirmed.
Travel and Experience: For winners who select the holiday package, we will source and arrange their holiday experience according to the details they provide. While we strive to ensure a remarkable travel experience, please be aware that we are not liable for any unforeseen events. Once we handover the itinerary to the winner, it will be their responsibility to check any travel advice for the country they will be visiting, including researching passport and insurance and visa requirements. Travel insurance is highly recommended to safeguard your travel plans but the decision to obtain travel insurance will be made at their own discretion . They should therefore but not limited to flight delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary.
Liability and Expenses: While we put every effort into offering exceptional prizes, including monetary rewards, we cannot be held responsible for how winners choose to spend their prizes. We are not liable for any expenses incurred by the winners during their holiday or other expenditures. This includes, but is not limited to, any costs associated with travel, accommodation, meals, activities, or other personal expenses. No refunds or compensation will be given
Participant Responsibility: By participating in The Ventured competitions, winners agree to accept full responsibility for their decisions and actions. Winners are expected to exercise their judgment and discretion when using their winnings. We strongly encourage winners to make informed choices and prioritize their safety and well-being.
Release of Liability: By accepting your prize, you agree to release The Ventured, its employees, agents, and partners from any liability arising from your use of the prize, including but not limited to any damages, losses, injuries, or incidents that may occur. This includes situations where monetary prizes are spent or utilized in a manner that leads to negative outcomes.
